BUSINESS AND FLEETS

Charging for employees and electric vehicle fleets

Define who may charge, how many points you need and which data you must review before choosing equipment and its backend.

Users and permissions

A business may share charging between employees, visitors and company vehicles. A fleet also needs to follow the status of several points and review its vehicles’ sessions. The first step is to define an access policy: who is authorised and what information the person responsible for operation needs. Keep this policy alongside the list of equipment and backend functions required for the site.

OSHTIA EV Charger covers authorisation by RFID, NFC or mobile app when included in the configuration. Contactless credentials and the app are access methods, not a guarantee that any external user system can be integrated. Permissions and available functions must be defined alongside the selected backend.

Several points, available power

The charger version is selected according to supply, number of points and access model. To share power or apply limits, the system must include compatible metering and software. Power for each installation is defined in the project and depends on the electrical supply; it cannot be inferred solely from the number of fleet vehicles.

The responsible professional confirms voltage, phases, distance to the switchboard, external protection and cabling routes. OSHTIA supplies equipment and documentation, without installation, civil works or legalisation. Separating these tasks from product configuration helps establish what the installer must validate and which functions are expected from management.

Sessions and operational monitoring

With a connected backend, the described configuration supports exportable session history, status alerts and operational monitoring to review consumption and availability. The platform brings together data and policies; in local mode, without a backend, there are no users, history or remote management of bays or vehicles.

Integration with ERP, CRM or external networks requires compatibility and scope validation. OCPP integration is under validation for the supported product configuration. Prepare the number of points, available power, planned users, connectivity and data to export. Review the datasheet to distinguish equipment options, platform functions and electrical requirements before requesting a configuration for your business or fleet.
